Itinerary

Day 1 Fly to Beijing

Day 2 Arrival Transfer to hotel

Arrive in Beijing, after arrival, you will be met and transferred to hotel by your tour guide and driver. Free on your own for the rest of the day.

Day 3 Beijing (B, L, SD)

First visit Tiananmen Square, the national Museum of China, Great Hall of the People, parliament building of CHina, etc. Afterwards, visit the Forbidden City,After lunch visit the Temple of Heaven. This evening sit down to a traditional dinner of Peking Duck.

Day 4 Beijing (B, L)

Visit Mutainyu Great Wall, sections of the Great Wall. Climb up the Great Wall, well-known for the longest defense wall in the world. What a great experience! You will become “a trueman, heroes and heroines on the Great Wall” as the old Chinese saying goes. After lunch, visit the Jade Museum you can understand and appreciate the delicate process of carving the stone and buy a piece if you wish. Savor an afternoon in the idyllic landscapes of the Summer Palaces as you see the traditional Chinese gardens and exquisite architecture.

Day 5 Beijing – Jiayuguan (B, D)

Transfer to Beijing Capital Airport and take flight to Jiayuguan. Arrive at Jiayuguan in the afternoon, the local guide pick up and transfer to the hotel for dinner, free and easy in the afternoon.

Day 6 Jiayuguan – Dunhuang (B, L ,D)

You will visit the Jiayuguan Fort in the morning, the fort was first built in the year of 1372, and it was completed through the strenuous efforts of 168 years. Due to its a strategic geographical location and imposing architectures, Jiayuguan Fort is dubbed as the impregnable pass in China and the western terminus of the Great Wall. After lunch, drive to Dunhuang through the Go-bi desert.

Day 7 Dunghuan (B, L, D)

In the morning, we go to visit the National wonder Singing Sand Dune and Crescent Moon Spring, we riding the Camel on the sand dunes as like the caravans on the ancient Silk Road. After lunch we visit the Dunhuang Museum, Take a free walking in the local market.

Day 8 Dunhuang – Turpan (B, L)

You will visit the Mogao Grottoes in the morning; After lunch we are driving to Liuyuan and catch up the high speed train to Turpan.

Day 9 Turpan (B, L)

After breakfast excursions: Jiaohe Ruins, Karez Irrigation system, Grand Mosque. Sugong Minerat, Tuyoq Valley, Local Uyger Family with Vineyard, Turpan is a kingdom of Grapes, all the local Uyger familes plant the grapes at the back of their home.

Day 10 Turfan – Urumqi – Heavenly lake (B, L)

Red mountain, Xinjing Uygur Autonomous region museum, Heavenly Lake. Xinjiang Museum, Heavenly Lake, There are eight beautiful scenic spots in the lake scenic area, they are ” A Ray of Stone Gate”, “Dragon’s Pool and Green Moon”, “Magic Needle for Guarding the Sea”, “Three Stones Bearing the Sky”, “The Snowcapped Southern Mountain”, “Pine Billows in Western Mountain”, ” The Hanging Waterfall”

Day 11 Urunqi – Xian (B, SD)

Fly to Xian — One of the oldest cities in China, it served as captial of 11 dynasties, and is notable for being the starting point for the famous “SIlk Road”. Our guide and driver will pick you up from the airport, transfer you to enjoy the famous Dumpling Dinner.

Day 12 Xian (B, L, D)

Visit the Terracotta Warriors Museum. It is a huge underground military museum constructed as an accessory pit of Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum. Afterwards, you will visit the Small Goose Pagoda Park. It mainly consists of the Xian Museum, the Jianfu Temple, and the famous Small Wild Goose Pagoda. Tonight you will enjoy the Tang Dynasty Stage Show.

Day 13 Xian – Shanghai (B, L)

This morning board your flight to Shanghai, Arrive in Shanghai meet your guide and go to visit the Yu Yuan Garden and Shanghai Bazaar. It is a typical private garden in China with nearly 500 years history. Located in Shanghai old town. Continue to the Bund, off Shanghai’s outstanding foreign buildings, Silk factory – Where you will learn about Chinese Silk. Continue to Shanghai Museum. At last enjoy free time and shopping on Nanjing Road.

Day 14 Shanghai (B)

Enjoy a full day of independent exploration or last minutes shopping in Shanghai.

Day 15 Fly Home (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for flight back home.
