DAY 1 Fly to Beijing

DAY 2 Arrive in Beijing Arrive in Beijing, China’s capital city. Welcomed by your guide at the airport, you will be escorted to your hotel for check-in.

DAY 3 Beijing

In the morning , marvel at the vast Tiananmen Square and see the neighboring halls and monuments. Walk through the Gate of Heavenly Peace to the magnificent For bidden Cit y, which was home to the Ming and Qing dynasties for over 500 year s. Spend the afternoon at the former Im per ial Sum m er Palace – the famous royal garden that was favored by the Empress Cixi in the late 19th centur y. Stroll through the ” Long Corridor” to admire its painting galler y. Enroute visit a Pearl factor y. Tonight you will be ser ed with one of the most famous dishes at Fangzhuang Quanjude Beijing Duck Restaurant.

DAY 4 Beijing

Travel to the northwest of Beijing to visit China’s most famous attraction – the Great Wall. Built over 2,000 year s ago, it stretches 4,000 miles across mountains and valley in the Northern part of China. After wards, you will be transferred to the 2008 Beijing Olym pi c sites, including the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube, for a photo opportunity. Your guide will show you the best angle for getting a panoramic view of the stadium before enjoying a walk along Wangfujing Street, a 700-year s-old commercial street.

DAY 5 Beijing to Xian

This morning explore The Tem ple of Heaven , a complex of buildings representing the pinnacle of Ming and Qing ar chitecture. After lunch take the high speed train to Xian, the starting city of Silk Road. Upon arrival, meet by local guide and transfer to hotel.

DAY 6 Xian

Visit the Terracotta Warriors Museum . It is a huge underground military museum constructed as an accessorypit of Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum. After wards, you will visit the Small Goose Pagoda Par k . it mainly consists of the Xian Museum , the ancient Jianfu Temple, and the famous Sm all Wild Goose Pagoda.

DAY 7 Xian to Shanghai

This morning visit the Ancient City Wall, the largest and best-preserved one in China. Originally built as a military defense during the Ming Dynasty. The wall now surrounded by a round-city-park. Then take the high speed overnight train to Shanghai (Soft Sleeper).

Day 08 Shanghai

In the morning , take a walk through The Bund. Its Art Deco and neoclassical facades appear much as they did during Shanghai’s heyday as China’s most international city, way back in the 1920s and ’30s. You’ll also visit the Shanghai Bazaar and Yu Yuan Garden, the most famous garden in shanghai. After lunch, visit Jade Buddha Temple the most famous buddhist temple in Shanghai and a short tour of a Silk Spinning factory to see how Chinese silk has been produced since the 14th century.
